We didn't understand Stephen Hawking in A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME, and we don't understand love in real life. But we do understand romance in biopics, which is what the new film about Hawking attempts to do in THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING. This inspires a look back at other great romances of our time (or at least the altered film versions) in SID AND NANCY & A BEAUTIFUL MIND.
